There’s nothing like springtime in Edmonton…

Legislative Assembly of AlbertaThis week I received the happy news that both of the papers that my colleagues and I proposed have been accepted for the Canadian Political Science Association’s 2012 Annual Meeting in Edmonton.

One is a sole-authored paper examining how Asian Canadians used the legal system to challenge discriminatory legislation in the period from Confederation to the end of World War II. The other is a piece that I am coauthoring with Professor David Rayside and fellow PhD Student Jerry Sabin on the influence of religious conservatism in Alberta politics.
