CPSA 2014 + Graham White Festschrift

It’s that time of year again – I’m off once more to the Annual Conference of the Canadian Political Science Association, which is held as part of the Congress of the Social Sciences and Humanities at Brock University In St. Catherine’s, Ontario.

This year I’ll be presenting on my dissertation research on All-Party Groups in Canada and the UK, and particularly whether explanations for politicians’ involvement from the American equivalent (known as Congressional Caucuses) can be transferred to Westminster systems. Here are the details for my session:

Session: B1 – Political Parties
Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2014
Time: 08:45am to 10:15am
Location: Taro Hall 403
Download: Paper

This year, as an added treat, I’m also going to be taking part in a follow-on conference to mark the retirement of my dissertation supervisor, Professor Graham White (pictured above). Graham has made a huge contribution to Canadian political science in general, and to the study of legislatures in particular, and I’m honoured to have been invited to participate.

The conference will take place on Friday, May 30th at the University of Toronto. Here’s the full schedule.
